Iberia Couple Killed in Semi-Truck Accident Missouri
Wednesday, August 6th, 2008An Iberia couple was killed in a car accident involving a semi-truck Monday morning at 11:15 in Iberia. Seventy nine-year-old Theodore Sanning pulled his 2000 Buick into the path of a southbound tractor trailer at the Highway 42, Highway 17 intersection.
The semi struck the driver’s side of the car. Theodore Sanning was pronounced dead at the accident scene. His passenger, 82-year-old Reba Sanning was taken to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach, where she passed away Tuesday afternoon.
The driver of the 2007 Freightliner, 50-year-old Lester Gilpin of Ashland was not injured.
